In June 2025, an overseas client visited our warehouse facility to conduct a personal, pre-shipment quality check on his steel coil order before it was loaded and trucked to the port. Instead of sending a third-party agency, the buyer wanted to personally verify the cargo to ensure the steel coils perfectly match his project requirements.
The inspection took place right on the warehouse floor, where the finished Galvanized and Prepainted Steel Coils (GI/PPGI) were packed and ready for delivery. Armed with his own handheld digital micrometer and a portable coating thickness gauge, the client spent hours inspecting the ready-to-ship coils one by one.
He focused heavily on the actual thickness tolerances and edge quality. He measured multiple points along the outer layers of the coils, checking the steel thickness down to the millimeter and testing the actual paint coating thickness to make sure it met the contract specs. Every physical measurement he took on the warehouse floor aligned with the technical figures on our Mill Test Certificates (MTC), showing zero deviations.
This level of precision comes down to our stable material sourcing. After verifying the packaging, edge protection, and actual dimensions himself, the client signed off on the loading list. This successful individual inspection gave him total peace of mind before the shipment headed to the container yard.
