In March 2025, HXH STEEL finalized the domestic loading and port delivery of a bulk order of Hot Rolled Coils (HRC) allocated for the Pakistani market.
When moving heavy-gauge hot rolled coils, the primary concern isn't rust (as these are raw black steel coils meant for downstream processing), but rather preventing physical deformation, telescoping, and edge damage during heavy lifting.

Heavy HRC units (often weighing over 15 to 25 tons per coil) are prone to shifting or "telescoping" under sudden transit braking. To secure this batch, our yard team reinforced every coil before it left the warehouse:
Transporting these massive coils from our central facility to the shipping terminal requires rigorous weight distribution. As shown in our dispatch photos, every coil was seated into heavy-duty wooden V-blocks (cradles) chained to the truck beds. This custom bracing prevents the coils from rolling forward or backward during transit, shielding the lower radius of the coils from impact flattening or scratching.
This March 2025 shipment was tailored for industrial buyers in Karachi and Lahore involved in heavy fabrication:
Structural Manufacturing
The consistent mechanical properties and chemical composition make these coils ideal for roll-forming welded pipes, H-beams, and channels.
General Engineering
The flat shape and precise thickness tolerance ensure smooth uncoiling and laser-cutting on local factory lines without cracking.
By overseeing the loading process down to the placement of the wooden cradles, HXH STEEL ensures our hot rolled products arrive at the port fully intact and ready for international shipping.
