Hot Rolled Steel Plates/Sheets are the cornerstone of modern industry. They are produced by heating slabs and rolling them to the desired thickness in rolling mills, then shearing into sheets or coiling. Our hot rolled plates feature high strength, good toughness, and strong weldability, with a wide size range, making them ideal base materials for heavy machinery manufacturing, building structures, shipbuilding, pressure vessels, and various general structural applications.

Ideal for structural applications requiring robustness.
Economical choice with good formability for various fabrication needs.
Exceptional Structural Strength and Toughness: Through high-temperature rolling, the plate's grain structure is refined, yielding high strength and excellent toughness, making it the ideal choice for building bridges, ships, and large infrastructure.
High Cost-Effectiveness and Mass Production Suitability: The hot rolling process is straightforward and relatively low-energy, suitable for the mass production of thick plates, offering a more cost-advantaged solution than cold-rolled products.
Superior Processing and Welding Performance: The material possesses good ductility and plasticity, easily allowing for cutting, drilling, and machining. It also exhibits excellent welding adaptability for manufacturing complex steel structures and on-site assembly.
Wide Application Compatibility: Available in a large range of thicknesses and steel grades to match specific stress requirements, widely used in structural frameworks, heavy machinery, automotive chassis, and pressure vessels across industrial sectors.
Buildings & Bridges: Steel structure buildings, bridge components.
Heavy Machinery: Construction machinery frames, mining equipment, agricultural machinery.
Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering: Hull structures, offshore platforms.
Pressure Vessels: Storage tanks, boiler shells.
General Structures: Truck beams, vehicle chassis, various bases and supports.
Hot rolled plates are produced from slabs reheated to 1250–1300°C and rolled on a plate mill. The slab undergoes multiple passes in a reversing mill with controlled finish rolling temperature (FRT) of 850–900°C. For higher strength grades, accelerated cooling (ACC) at rates up to 30°C/s is applied to achieve fine-grained microstructure. The plate is then cooled on a cooling bed, sheared to length, and leveled. For sheets, the process is similar but on a hot strip mill with coiling.
We hold various certifications including ISO9001, CE, API. Products can be certified by third-party classification societies (e.g., CCS, ABS, DNV). We conduct strict inspections on chemical composition, mechanical properties (tensile, impact), and ultrasonic testing (UT).
We provide comprehensive cutting and pre-processing services:
Flame/Plasma/Laser cut-to-length
Edge preparation/beveling
Shot blasting/surface preparation
Normalizing/Quenching & Tempering heat treatment (N/T, Q/T)
Depending on plate size and weight, packaging includes bundling, wooden cradles, or steel cradles. For products with high rust prevention requirements, peelable anti-rust oil is applied. We have the capability to handle oversized and overweight pieces. We work with professional and reliable logistics partners to ensure the products arrive safely at your designated port of destination. Shipments are available from major ports like Shanghai, Tianjin, delivering globally.
