Fundamental Industrial Raw Material: Serving as the foundation for manufacturing cold rolled coils, structural components, plates, and various section steels, HRC supports core industries like construction, automotive, and heavy equipment.
HRC production begins with continuously cast slabs, reheated to 1250–1300°C in a walking-beam furnace. After scale removal via high-pressure water descaling, the slab is reduced in thickness through a roughing mill and finishing mill. Finishing rolling temperature is controlled at 850–950°C, followed by controlled cooling on the run-out table at rates of 15–25°C/s to achieve desired microstructure (ferrite-pearlite). The strip is coiled at 550–650°C and cooled slowly. The final coil can be slit, leveled, or cut-to-length as required.
